Trippin' on a Friday

For the entirety of the summer up to this point :) I have led a relatively peaceful existence. I attribute this new found sense of peace to my almost complete lack of television watching. After studying media, I am almost convinced that a person can lead a much happier/healthy life if he/she really controls the amount of TV she/he watches.

As a result, I have partially abandoned my normal crusades against the injustices in this world. I feel I've done a very good job, however, I have been told this summer not once but twice that I should be a lawyer. I guess I haven't given up my rants completely. A few minutes ago, I came across a little article that once again sparked my outrage at the close-mindedness and shallowness that leads to most of the cruel things that are inacted against other human beings. Although this is just a small thing, it still sickens me to think that we still have not learned from our past mistakes, and we still feel that we are somehow superior to other groups of people.

With that said, thank goodness it is Friday. For some reason I can't seem to stop tripping over my feet today. I think the shoes I'm wearing extend my foot out to a size 8 1/2, I've almost fallen going up the stairs here at work three times, twice in a row. Fortunately no one was around to witness my stunt, but the day is still young.

Looking forward to this evening. Can't wait for another fun-filled-Friday night of adventure. We'll see what the interns can get into this weekend.

If you are looking for some entertainment check out this website. I am very impressed with this lady's creativity.
