The day after Manic Monday

So today is Tuesday. Unfortunately nothing too life changing has occured that would make this blog live up to the amazing status it was given by the irish redhead. I'm excited though b/c the ex-roomie from college is coming into town on Wednesday. She's never been west of the Mississippi so this should be fun!

We've decided that we are going to hike to the top of Pike's Peak, which is a mere 14,110 foot mountain with a 13 mile trail leading up to the top. Should be interesting, and needless to say I am kicking my cardio up a notch to prepare.

Still haven't seen the new Batman flick at the IMAX but hopefully I will remedy that this week. We shall see.

A bright spot of the day is that the new Missy Elliot cd "The Cookbook" will be in stores in exactly a week from today. I'm hyped...can't wait to be able to listen to it. She's always so original.

The visit with the rents was fun. Sad to see them go, but with Meg coming on Wednesday I hardly have time to get ready for the next visitor! We are planning on doing a little bit of camping this weekend so I'm hyped about that.

That's all I got for now...we are planning on climbing the Incline tonight so wish me luck!
